CURRENT SITUATION WITH COVID GUIDELINES

Extended Hours are planning to restart GP sessions of a weekday evening at Ellesmere Port Hospital. The is available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. For nursing services urgent care the following will be available:

  • Urgent Doppler and compression dressings
  • Ongoing chronic dressings (with risk of infection )
  • Post op dressings including ROS/Clips
  • B12 Injection ( most patients have been changed to oral therapy )
  • Testosterone Injections
  • Hormonal Injections (Cancer therapy)

Please note the service is currently not offering ear syringing.

Need a weekend or evening appointment? Do you have trouble making a GP appointment during the day due to work commitments?

The GP Extended Hours service is designed to provide patients with appointments outside core general practice hours for routine care and is available:

Mon-Fri 6.30-9.30pm, Sat & Sun 9am-6pm and Bank Holidays 9am-2pm

You can make an appointment for a:

  • GP
  • Nurse
  • Blood test
  • Physiotherapy assessment
